Bourdain Has A Hofbräu

This week's episode of the Travel Channel's No Reservations cable foodie show ("Disappearing Manhattan") featured a segment at the NYC old school German restaurant The Heidelberg.
Host and culinary snark-arian Tony Bourdain tucked in for a platter heaped high with roast meats, sausages, head cheese and cabbage and washed it all down with a giant 2 liter boot of Hofbräu beer.

We're always jealous of Bourdain's gastronomic conquests, and he couldn't have picked a better beer to match.
Hofbräu has been brewing since 1589, and at one time was Germany's sole producer of Weisse (Wheat) beer. You can't get any more old school than that.
